EXPERT BUYING GUIDES SINCE 2019
We started Gym Equipment Pro because good equipment advice online was hard to find.
Too many “best of” lists online are written to sell you whatever pays the highest commission. We built this site to be the opposite of that.
Who We Are
Gym Equipment Pro is run by a small, dedicated team focused on one thing: helping people choose gym equipment that’s actually right for their space, budget, and goals — without the marketing fluff. We’re not a large media company, and we’re not a certification body. We’re a focused research team that spends real hours comparing specifications, reading manufacturer documentation, and tracking user feedback across products, so you don’t have to.
Since 2019, we’ve published over 128 in-depth guides covering everything from home gym setups to commercial fitness equipment, and we update our content regularly as products, prices, and standards change.
Our Approach to Research
Every guide we publish goes through the same process: we start by identifying what actually matters for a given piece of equipment — durability, safety, value, and fit for different use cases — then we cross-reference manufacturer specifications, verified buyer feedback, and category-wide pricing trends to form a clear recommendation.
We’re upfront that we don’t personally hands-on test every single product we cover — for a category as broad as gym equipment, no single team could. What we commit to instead is rigorous, honest research and clear communication about what we know and don’t know. You can read more about exactly how we work on our Editorial Policy page.
Why You Can Trust Our Recommendations
Our income comes primarily from affiliate commissions and advertising, and we’re upfront about that — you’ll find our full Disclaimer linked in our footer on every page. But commission rates never determine our recommendations. If a lower-commission product is the better choice for your situation, that’s what we’ll tell you.
We also actively correct our content. If you spot outdated information, a broken link, or something that doesn’t match your own experience with a product, we want to know — see our Contact page to reach us directly.
What We Cover
Our guides span home gym setups, commercial gym equipment, strength training gear, cardio machines, gym flooring and storage, accessories, and buying advice for every budget — from a first apartment gym to a fully equipped garage setup or small commercial facility.
